I’m not even sure where to begin. my bf started on it but he can either only get the dvd home theater and the projector to work, or the cable and projector but he cant get them all together. if any one needs additional info to answer this just ask because i have no idea what we are doing or what cords we have

Get an audio/video switcher from radio shack…you can connect up to four audio/video components. All you need to do is remember”the output video plug goes into the input of the T.V.(smile).The rest should come to your bf.

You can buy a splitter box with a switch, which allows you to connect up to 3 or 4 sources to one input. In other words, you can connect your PS2 and DVD system to it and switch between the two without disconnecting anything. Look in the back of the DVD system. Find a yellow jack which says “TV OUT” or something like that. Connect a yellow RCA cable to it, and the other end into the splitter. Then do the same with the PS2 yellow cable, connect it to the second input on the splitter. Plug the white and red cables from the PS2 into the splitter as well. Now, find the “Audio Out” jacks on the projector. Connect another set of red and white cables to it, and the other ends to the “VCR IN” jacks on the DVD system. Connect all the speakers as directed in the DVD system manual. Now, you should have the PS2 plugged into the splitter, and the audio from the projector connected to the DVD system. Take a yellow RCA cable and connect it into the “VCR IN” jack on the DVD system. Connect the other end to the “Video Out” jack on the splitter. Now, take another yellow cable and connect one end to the “Video Out” jack on the DVD system. The other end goes into the “Video In” jack on the projector. Turn on all equipment and follow the projector manual to find out how to switch to the A/V inputs (could be RGB In, VCR In, A/V In, etc.). Then make sure the DVD system is set to the right signal, TV or VCR, something like that. Turn the PS2 on and play an audio CD or something, anything with audio and video. Once you have the sound running to the DVD system and the video running through the projector, you’re good to go. Keep in mind, you might have to buy the RCA cables from an electronics store such as Future Shop, The Source, Radio Shack, or Best Buy. If I’m not explaining this stuff easily enough for you, or if I’m confusing you, you can probably ask one of the clerks or representatives in the store to help you out.
Good luck, and I hope you get your theatre running as intended.
