Hi,
I am thinking about purchasing the Philips HTS5800H home theater system as described on the Phillips website. But is it a good system, will the speakers sound nice? Our living room is about 14 x 14 feet and it would be nice if we could play music to the adjoining kitchen.

it’s not bad but I’d go with the samsung all in one home Theater System with 1000Watt output 5DVD Changer USB Host HDMI in & out XM-ready Wireless ready divX Support it will play just about anything you put in it and it’s Speakers Sound’s good

Right now the BEST “home theater in boxes” are coming from ONKYO…They manufacture several different levels of complete systems…All are great sounding, but each step up offers more sound and speakers for your money…Demo each one down at Circuit City…Here’s a link to their website depicting all 5 models they have in stock…($300-$1,000)
