Dvd Home Theater System

I Have A JVC DVD Digital TH-M303 Home Theater System. The Connections On My TV Are Old And Produce A Highly Distorted Xbox Picture. I Want To Hook It Up To The Dvd System Because The DVD Picture Quality On The Screen Is Excellent, I Just Don't Know Where To Plug In The Cables In The Back Of The DVD Unit. Can Anyone Help Me?
